Born in Madrid, I studied Medicine and Surgery at the Complutense University of the same city between 1989 and 1995.
After studying the MIR, I studied the specialty of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University Hospital La Paz in Madrid, a hospital belonging to the Autonomous University of that city, between 1995 and 2000.
I belong to the first promotion of Experts in Functional and Regenerative Aesthetic Gynecology by the University of Barcelona.
I have a Master's Degree in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Since I finished my specialty I have worked in several public hospitals in Murcia, Cartagena and Alicante, as well as private hospitals in the city of Murcia, Hospital La Vega and Ups San Carlos, where I continue to perform my surgical activity and hospital obstetrics.
Since I started my specialty, attending courses, congresses and all kinds of continuing education activities has been a constant, as this is the only way to continue offering my patients quality care.
I belong to the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, SEGO, the Gynecological Society of Murcia, SGM, and the recently created Society of Gynecoesthetics and Intimate Surgery, SEGECI, and the GYNESTHETICS group of the Spanish Association for the Study of Menopause, AEEM, and the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine, SEME.
I am a member of the Illustrious Official College of Physicians of Madrid since 1995, and of the Illustrious College of Physicians of the Region of Murcia since 2000.
For more than ten years I have been directing Artemédica, a center of medical specialties in which, in addition, I continue to practice the specialty of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Dr. Humberto Rodríguez Menés has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid, Specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery and University Specialist in Senology and Breast Pathology.
Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery.
He has more than twenty years of professional experience in Aesthetic Surgery, and is a Full Member of recognized Scientific Medical Societies such as SECPRE (Spanish Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery), the SMCPRE (Murcian Society of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery), the International Society of Plastic, Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery of U.S.A., the SESPM (Spanish Society of Senology and Breast Pathology), among others.
He is the author of several publications in Scientific Journals of Plastic Surgery and belongs to the Illustrious Official College of Physicians of Madrid since 1984. We are fortunate to have him since Artemédica opened.
UROLOGIST
Dr. Antonio Prieto González

Born in Granada in 1962. He studied Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine in Granada between 1979 and 1985.
After passing the MIR, he trained in the specialty of Urology at the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca in Murcia between 1989 and 1994, where he continues to work today as an attending physician.
Between 2008 and 2010, he moved to Alicante, where he was Head of the Urology Department at the Hospital de Torrevieja.
He works actively in the renal transplant unit, including the living donor transplant unit, at the Hospital de la Arrixaca, one of the leading hospitals in transplantation throughout Spain.
Given his qualifications, during the years 2012 and 2013 he was transferred to the Hospital de San Pedro de Logroño, La Rioja, as Head of Section with the mission to implement and develop the Renal Transplant Service in that region.
Since the beginning of his specialty he belongs to the Murcian Association of Urology, AMU, and the Spanish Association of Urology, AEU. He is a member of the Ethics Committee of the Hospital de la Arrixaca since its inception in 2002.
I have extensive experience in uro-oncological pathology, as well as in laparoscopic surgery; continence problems both male and female and male sexual and reproductive pathology. It is not possible to list all the courses he attends and participates in. At Artemédica we are fortunate that he has chosen us as his private practice for more than 6 years.
UROLOGIST
Dr. Pedro Ángel López González

Born in Murcia in 1972. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, he studied at the University of Murcia, obtaining his degree in June 2002. He made the specialty of Urology, via MIR, at the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca (HUVA), Murcia, during the years 2005-2010.
I have a Third Cycle studies, in the program of Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the biennium 2006-2008, at the University of Murcia. I also held the title of Career Civil Servant in the Senior Faculty of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, in 2003. Since his training as a urologist works in H.C. Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital.
He is a member of the Murcian Association of Urology, AMU, and the Spanish Association of Urology, AEU.
He works actively, and with wide experience, in Oncological Urology. Comprehensive care, and updated, from diagnosis to treatment and monitoring of urological tumors. Extensive and continuous training in this field, with numerous training courses on prostate cancer and other urological tumors, and conducting multiple conferences on this subject. Specialized training and experience in laparoscopic surgery (prostatectomy, cystectomy and nephrectomy). Training and experience with the latest advances in diagnosis (new markers: PCA3, PHI, 4K), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Prostate Biopsy guided by MRI findings. Joint decision with the patient on the most appropriate treatment for his case, from observation - Active Surveillance - to surgery, with the possibility of laparoscopic surgery, with an earlier functional recovery.
Experience in General Urology, in relation to lower urinary tract symptoms (prostatism), urinary tract infections, lithiasis, urethral strictures... and in corrective surgery: prostate TUR, endoscopic lithotripsy, internal urethrotomy...
Specialized training and experience in erectile dysfunction and other sexual and reproductive health problems.
Specialized training - University Diploma in Urological Ultrasound - and extensive experience in diagnostic ultrasound imaging and prostate and renal biopsies.
